A Journey of Chess, Culture, and Friendship with JCA Chess School ♟️🌍✨
The chess adventure began on January 3rd at Dulwich International School Shanghai, where eager participants delved into strategic training sessions led by the remarkable WGM Khayala Abdulla. The first day was a perfect blend of focus, learning, and inspiration.
The excitement carried over to January 4th at the SCA Hongqiao Campus, where FM/FT/FA Jirapak, FM/FI Jimson, and WGM Khayala Abdulla joined forces to guide students through advanced training. The day culminated in the much-anticipated Cross-Cultural Friendship Chess Tournament, featuring 5 electrifying rounds with a 10-minute time control. From 17:00 to 19:00, the tournament brought players together from diverse backgrounds, fostering friendships and celebrating the universal language of chess.
This excursion was more than just a chess camp—it was a celebration of learning, cultural exchange, and the power of connection through the game we love.
